The in-house services team at Marie Louise House, which prepares your meals, launders your clothes and maintains our facilities, is a professional and caring group that will get to know you personally.
Our head chef, second chef, and catering assistants are passionate about preparing and cooking your meals with care. We source ingredients locally, collaborating with butchers, fishmongers, and greengrocers. This approach ensures we provide high-quality and nutritionally balanced food. Our catering team works hard to meet the highest five-star hygiene standards.
We understand that food is personal, and our chefs will meet with you to discuss your dietary needs, preferences, and requests, all of which will be documented in your person-centred care plan. Breakfast options range from fresh fruits to a full English breakfast. Lunch and dinner include seasonal fruits and vegetables, and we often host themed events such as Burns Night, VE Day, and various religious feasts.
To ensure your preferences are catered for, our chefs will actively involve you in the seasonal menu planning. Every afternoon, we serve homemade cakes, and snacks and refreshments are available 24 hours a day.
Our maintenance team is also based on-site, ensuring that the building, grounds, your room, and all features of the home remain in safe working order.
Your clothing is laundered on-site by our housekeeping team, who adhere to infection prevention and control protocols to maintain cleanliness in your room, communal areas, and throughout the house.
