Fun Filled June at Marie Louise House
This month has been filled with exciting events and moments at Marie Louise House.
We were over the moon to welcome a delightful brood of ducklings to the home this month. They brought smiles to residents and staff, and we all enjoyed taking care and playing with the lovely ducklings.

Residents enjoyed a special treat with a pizza delivery. We were incredibly grateful for the gift of the pizzas and both residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed it.

We’re pleased to announce that a new roof has been successfully fitted. A big thank you to the facilities team who completed the work so efficiently and with minimal disruption. This will ensure that the home stays warm, dry, and secure for many years to come, and brings happiness to us all within the home to know we have a new safe roof which

June was crowned by a truly magical event as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Marie Louise House. With a fantastic turnout from residents, families, friends, and Sisters.
Among the guests at Marie Louise House, was Cllr Russell Theron, the Mayor of Romsey, who spent time chatting with residents and staff.
Music was supplied by Mike Sideway Entertainment, helping guests get into the dancing mood. There were also games and refreshments.
Special gifts were presented to staff members who have shown dedication and ambition in making the care home special to all.
Mair Williams, Executive Director of Care and Community Services, said, “What a wonderfully enjoyable day at Marie Louise House last Friday. Thank you so much for all your hard work in making the 20th Anniversary celebration such a success – such a lot of thought and hard work went into arranging the event and I wanted to thank you personally for everything you did. There was such a good turnout, and the residents, families, friends and Sisters thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and the atmosphere was magical.”
Andrea Barker, Area Manager at Healthcare Management Trust, which runs Marie Louise House, added: “I am beyond proud of everyone involved in marking this day. We have come so far over the years, and coming together to mark this celebration is a testament to the hard work of the whole team. We have built something very special here.
